OBITUARY
Fitchburg – Yvette M. Dufour, 81, of Fitchburg passed away peacefully on June 11, 2015 in Sterling Village.
Yvette was born in Fitchburg on August 23, 1933, a daughter of the late Clovis and Yvonne (Leclerc) Dufour. She began her education at Saint Ann’s Academy in Marlboro. Yvette graduated from Saint Bernard’s High School and later from Steven’s Business College. For many years she worked as the bookkeeper at Dufour Garage and Speedway. Yvette loved her dogs and tending to her flower gardens. She treasured the time she spent with her family, whom she loved very much. Yvette loved the holidays and often looked forward to the Christmas edition of the Neiman Marcus catalog.
She leaves her sister Annette (Dufour) Kelly and her husband Robert of Fitchburg, and many nieces and nephews.
Yvette was predeceased by her three brothers, Robert, Emile, and Leo Dufour.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Sterling Village and Rehabilitation 18 Dana Hill Rd., Sterling MA 01564.
