Yolande Picard Allen

A funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, October 27 in Our Lady of The Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St. Cecilias Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:30.



Ashby- Yolande L. (Allen) Picard, 85 died Tuesday, October 25 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester. Mrs. Picard was born on April 26, 1931 a daughter of the late Louie and Yvonne (Bilodeau) Allen and had lived in Ashby for many years. She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, David A. and Linda Picard of Leominster, Mark S. and Lisa Picard of Clinton, one brother, Arthur Allen of Ashby, one sister, Pauline Glenny of Fitchburg, three grandchildren, Thomas Picard, Justin Hennis, Lacy Corley, three great grandchildren, Chloey Picard, Hailey Picard, and Kenna Corley. Yolande also leaves her longtime companion Richard Reissmann. She was predeceased by her siblings, Norman Allen, Robert Allen, Arlene Halloran and Gloria Schultz. Mrs. Picard worked for many years at Borden Chemical in Leominster as an executive secretary.
