Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Tuesday, December 20 from 3-5pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
William J. DeNuzzio, Sr., 72, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2022 in UMass Medical Center.
He was born in Lawrence, MA on January 26, 1950, a son of the late William and Susan (Palmieri) DeNuzzio. After graduating Lawrence High School, Bill attended the Berklee College of Music, which fueled his passion to create a long-lasting career in music.
For over 20 years, Bill also worked as a Butcher for Mid-Town Beef. His culinary knowledge and skill were well known amongst family and friends. The most important aspect of Bill’s life was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan A. (Boudreau) DeNuzzio; children, Danielle DeNuzzio of Andover, William J. DeNuzzio, Jr. and wife Nicole of Maryland, Cristina Shattuck of Fitchburg, Marco DeNuzzio of Leominster, Larry Harper and wife Edna Saunders of Haverhill; grandchildren, Angelina, Caelyn, Logan, Keira, Macie, Preston, Layla, and Mateo; a sister Jeanne Griffiths of Lawrence and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Arlene Harper.
