William H. Davis Jr.

William "Billy" Henry Davis Jr. age 80, resident of Fitchburg, MA, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023.  William was born on December 20, 1943 to the late William (Katherine) Henry Davis Sr. and Phyllis (Alonzo) Lamb.

William, attended Waterbury public schools and worked in construction in CT and New Hampshire.  One of Billy's greatest pastimes was playing cards with his friends and sisters.  He would often 'talk junk' while playing (win or lose).  Billy also had a passion for Fashion.  He would often host fashion shows at the North End Rec Center and other centers in Waterbury CT where his daughter Kimberly was happy to be one of the models. William loved his family.  He would often call his daughters just to ask about his great grandchildren (the little ones).  He wanted to know what they were doing and when they were coming to see him.  He Loved all his family.

William leaves behind to cherish his most precious memories his Children:  Kimberly (Davis) Clements of Waterbury, CT, Lisa C, Charlotte Davis, Tishawna (Frantz) Morel and Scott (Terry) Hester all of  (the massachusetts.  His Brothers:  Dennis Davis of Sugar Hill Georgia, Wayne (Sheryll) Davis of Griffin Georgia.  His Sisters:  Sandra Lamb of NY and Gail Lamb of Waterbury CT.  His Grandchildren:  Dwayne Clements Jr and Kim "Kimmie" Clements of Waterbury CT, Sharusha (Denisha) Brown, Nathaniel (Karissa) Hester, Shateira Bryant, Amhonie Davis, Jahnyi Morel, Azsalise Vacca, Adri Butler, Jada Walker all of Fitchburg Massachusetts.  His Great Grandchildren:  Terrance, Ethen, Noah, Kori & Tatum all of Waterbury and Landyn, Jamari, Jazimarr, Kaleb & Marlei all of Massachusetts. One Special Nephew:  Wilson Matthew Lamb and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

William was predeceased by his Son William "Buddy" Henry Davis III, his Brother:  Carl "Skipper"(Diane) Davis.  His Sisters:  Evon Davis and Darlene (Allen) Brockenberry

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember William for a period of visitation on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg, MA, 01420. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 11:00am following calling hours, with burial to follow at Forest Hill cemetery, 115 Mt. Elam Rd. Fitchburg, MA 01420.
