William Louis Conlin, born on December 18, 1939, in Fitchburg MA, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on March 24, 20214 after a long illness.
William, known to most as Bill, was a lifelong Fitchburg resident and business owner. Many will remember Bill's Ringside or Conlin's Corner where he retired from in 2007. He was a US Marine, serving four years, for which he was very proud.
A four time Golden Gloves champion, Bill was a professional boxer in his younger years, known as Irish Billy Conlin. He had a passion for sports and was an avid fisherman, even owning his own charter business in Lake Ontario, NY where he loved to share his past time with many of his friends and patrons.
One of his favorite things to do was to go out to locak breakfast spots with friends or family and enjoy a mean. He loved his city and will be greatly missed.
Bill leaves behind a son, Michael, his wife Amanda and their three daughters. A daughter, Kelly O'Neill and her three sons and a grandson Joshua Conlin, as well as many great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his ex wife Mary Holmes, his two sons, William and Richard and a daighter, Erin Form.
Donations can be made to Fitchburg Health Care facility in Bill's honor.
