At Warren’s request the funeral and burial will be private. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
Warren S. Wiktorski, 94, of Westminster, passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Gardner on February 1, 1921, a son of the late Alexander and Victoria (Swich) Wiktorski. Warren grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School in 1939; he played football with the Gardner Merchants. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943 to 1946, and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant, and during his years of service was awarded The Good Conduct Medal, The Victory Medal, The European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbons, as well as the AM Theater Campaign Ribbon. Sergeant Wiktorski also earned the Expert Rifleman and Combat Infantry Badges, while serving with the 82nd Airborne.
Throughout his years, Warren worked for the A&P in Gardner, AL Greiner Construction, Vic Arcangeli Construction, and Digital Corp of Westminster. He was an active member of the Westminster V.F.W. and the Ashburnham American Legion. Warren was also a lifetime member of the Turnpike Rod and Gun Club. His favorite hobbies included; hunting, fishing, softball, horse shoes, and hockey with the Old Timer Hockey League at the Wallace Civic Center.

Warren is survived by his children, Diane Wiktorski of Aiken, SC, Kirk Wiktorski and his wife Josephine of Westminster, Lee Wiktorski and his wife Marsha of Fair Haven, VT, Kimberly Wiktorski of Jaffrey, NH, and Alan Wiktorski and his wife Kelli of Westminster; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his siblings; Charlie and Eddie Wiktorski, Anna Popoloski, Cecelia Pattern, and Louise Adams.
