With a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with compassion, Vicki Barbara Robillard lived a life that touched the lives of many. Born on April 27, 1951, in Townsend, Massachusetts, Vicki made the world a warmer place with her affectionate nature and her genuine love for her family and friends. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel," and Vicki truly embodied this sentiment. Her supportive and loving nature didn't just limit itself to her family and friends, but extended to anyone who had the fortune to cross paths with her.
Vicki was a woman of many passions. She volunteered with the church's Youth Group and Annual Bazaar. She worked for many years, part time at Fitchburg College Book Store. She was talented as a drafter with the former EDS LLC in Gardner MA. After a successful career in documentation services, her second occupation was working as a caterer, where her love for cooking found a broader canvas with Epicurean Feast in Leominster, MA, where she retired in 2013. Her culinary talents were renewed from Christmas cookies to Italian dishes. She took great joy in attending Barbershop Harmony events with her husband, Daniel Robillard, whom she married on August 19, 1990. The couple loved to travel, with Hawaii being Vicki's favorite destination. She was an avid camper, with Salisbury Beach and RV camping being among her favorite pastimes. Vicki's love for oldies rock and roll music was infectious, and she could often be found dancing to her favorite tunes. She was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for her excellent work doing makeup for the Worcester Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Group, showcasing her versatile talents. Her hobbies were as diverse as her personality, and she found joy in every aspect of her life, from the beaches of Salisbury to the harmony of barbershop music.
Vicki's life was a testament to the power of love and friendship. She was a beacon of support and love for her family and friends, who mattered most to her. She is survived by her husband, Daniel; daughters, Tina Terranova Peters (Michael Peters Sr.) and Lisa (Syvertsen) Terranova; her grandchildren, Gianna and Michael Peters; granddaughter, Taydra Haydu; brother, Paul (Jeanette) Krapf. She was preceded in-depth by her parents, Kenneth and Lauretta (Renaud) Krapf.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 29 Feb 2024 from 4:00 -8:00 pm in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, Massachusetts, 01453. A Funeral Mass will follow on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 am at Saint Cecilia Parish, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster, Massachusetts, 01453. Burial will be at St Cecilia's Cemetery, 99 Saint Cecilia Street, Leominster, Massachusetts, 01453 on the same day at 12:15pm. A celebration of Vicki's life will be held immediately following the burial at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 456 Litchfield Street, Leominster, MA 01453
