Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Sunday, August 6, from 10-2pm. A prayer service will be held at 2pm. Burial will be held privately.



Leominster – Vaughn A. Dowling, 48, of Leominster, passed away July 28, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family.Vaughn was born in Derry, NH on November 4, 1968, a son of the late Alfred and Barbara (Frost) Dowling. He was educated through Leominster Public Schools. Vaughn was the owner and operator of Vaughn Dowling Concrete Flooring for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family and hanging out with friends at the local coffee shop. He also enjoyed watching his son ride motocross. Vaughn loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and playing cards. He enjoyed traveling, especially the family vacations. Vaughn had a wonderful sense of humor and was always quick with a joke. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.Vaughn leaves his wife of 25 years, Cathlene (Chartrand) Dowling; two children, Tyler Dowling and Jessica Dowling; two brothers, Keith Dowling and wife Robin and Dion Dowling and wife Natasha all of Leominster. He also leaves three nieces, Sherra, Tiara, and Jada, and one nephew, KJ; his in-laws, Elaine and Irving Delorme; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
