A man of wonderful humor and endless wit, Tyrone Dudley, departed this world on September 26, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on June 9, 1969, in Greenville, Mississippi, Tyrone brought light and laughter to those around him. Tyrone was born to Minnie Dudley and the late Tyrone Collins.
Known for his ambitious spirit and compassionate heart, Tyrone spent much of his career in human resources at LUK, a mental health organization. Retiring from LUK didn't slow him down, it only gave him the opportunity to pour his inspiring energy into his passions. He was a well-known basketball referee and football coach in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where he resided. His love for sports was only superseded by his love for cooking and fishing, which brought him peace and joy. One of his favorite quotes was, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started," which echoed his inspiring attitude.
Tyrone was a man who lived for others. Despite his personal battle with Sarcoidosis, he never let his condition overshadow his kindness and dedication to those he cared for. His daughters, Desarae, Domanique, and Ebony, along with his son, Shakeale, knew they could always count on him. His legacy will live on through his granddaughter, Ivy Desalvo, and his siblings Gloria, Kimberly, Elizabeth, Ricky, Greg, Jamie, Ronald, Josh, and Tyrone 3rd. He also leaves behind his mother, Minnie Dudley, and his step-mother Carol Collins, along with his step-brother, Christian Arsenault. He was preceded in death by his father, Tyrone Collins, and his sister, Brenda Dudley.
In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Tyrone's life was a testament to this sentiment. His wit, ambition, compassion, and inspiring nature touched many lives and will continue to do so through the memories he has left behind. We invite you to share your memories and photos of Tyrone on his memorial page, to remember the laughter, joy, and inspiration he brought into our lives.
