Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., on Thursday, August 17, from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 18, at 10:00am Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. Burial will be held privately. Thomas W. Condon
LEICESTER – Thomas W. Condon of Leicester passed away suddenly while doing one
of his favorite weekend activities, yardwork, on Sunday, August 13 at the age of 64.
Born August 27, 1952 to William “Buddy” and Janet (Murray) Condon, he was raised
in Fitchburg, Mass. as the second of five children. He graduated from Fitchburg High
School in 1970.
Tom spent more than 30 years employed at FedEx, working his way from courier to
manager of several branches across Massachusetts. Outside of work, he enjoyed
countless motorcycle rides, summers at Cape Cod, trips to the beach, grilling year
round and Sundays watching football. He’ll be remembered by family and friends for
his infectious sense of humor and laugh.
Tom leaves two children, Angela Condon Clonan of Leominster, and Travis Condon
and his wife, Ashley, also of Leominster. He also leaves three sisters, Pam
Klingenberg and her husband, Kent, of Ashburnham, Cindy Cote and her husband,
Bernie, of Dennis Port, and Alicia Croteau and her husband, Jim, of Brookline, N.H.; one
brother, Billy Condon; one grandson, Tyler; and several aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces and nephews. Finally, Tom is survived by his companion of 15 years, Michele Cote of Leicester and former wife of 25 years Carol Condon of Leominster. He was predeceased by his parents.
