The funeral will be held Thursday, March 1st from Brandon Funeral Home, Fitchburg with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Parish at St. Camillus Church, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. Calling hours are Thursday from 9-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
FITCHBURG – Theresa Julia (Clermont) Bergeron, died peacefully on February 27, 2018 in Fitchburg Healthcare.
She was born January 26, 1934 in Fitchburg, daughter of the late Harry and Rose (Bousley) Clermont and lived here all of her life. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1953. She worked at Stuarts Department Store, First Safety Fund National Bank and Hancock Fabrics.
She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bernard Parish at St. Camillus Church. She was a devoted grandmother and shared her love of Christmas with them. She was an avid quilter.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Bergeron, Jr. She leaves two sons, George Bergeron III and his wife, Francine, of Leominster and Peter Bergeron of Goffstown, NH, four daughters, April Fey and her husband, Robert, of Raymond, ME, Cathy Ann Bergeron Buckley of Fitchburg, Michelle McGrath and her husband, James, of Fitchburg and Amy Shampine and her husband, Jeffrey, of Ashburnham, a brother, Harry Clermont of Ashburnham, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved cat, Lily.
