Theofil Thomas Krysiak

Theofil Thomas Krysiak, age 75, of Lunenburg, died June 8, 2023. His family, friends, and coworkers called him Tom or Chippy.

Tom was the husband of Patricia Desmond Krysiak. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Daniel, his daughter-in-law, Patricia, and his grandson, Benjamin of South Hamilton, MA; he loved them with all of his heart. Dan’s coonhound, Mabel, provided comic relief and true comfort. He leaves a sister, Diane, a sister-in-law, Barbara, both of Leominster, his brother Robert of Gardner, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Jane Vaden, and three brothers, Edward, John, and Michael. 

Born in Clinton, MA, he was the son of the late Theofil M. and Helen (Jaksina) Krysiak. He graduated from St. Bernard’s Central High School and received a BS degree in accounting from Providence College. He worked in the family business, the Wachusett Potato Chip Co. in Fitchburg, MA. He was a dedicated and exceptionally hard-working partner at Wachusett where he was primarily responsible for sales but he did not hesitate to do any job needed to be done. He worked for UTZ Snack Foods for several years after they acquired Wachusett and he was most appreciative of their kindness during his illness. 

At the family’s request, there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 63 Sheridan St, Fitchburg on Tuesday, June 13th at 10:00 AM.

Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Lancaster, MA.
