Stefanie A. Fluet

Stefanie A. Fluet (James), age 41, and a lifelong resident of Fitchburg, MA, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. She is the loving mother of Nicole and Alex Fluet, and wife of Brennan Fluet.

Stefanie was born on November 12, 1981, to Steve and Joan (Sicotte) James, in Boston, MA. She will always be remembered as "Mom", her children were her everything to her from sunup to sundown. Softball games, hockey games, there was no place she loved more than wherever they were. The field, the beach, or on the lake kayaking is where you could always find her just being a great mom with the kids.

She leaves a legacy of kindness and tenderness that everyone should aspire to.  Whether at work at FMC Devens, Leominster Hospital, Market Basket, or the sports field, she touched everyone with a lightheartedness and understanding, and a smile that was infectious and memorable to everyone she met.  "Live, Love, Laugh".

She is survived by her husband Brennan Fluet, her daughter Nicole Fluet, her son Alexander Fluet, Sister Jo-Anne Fletcher, and her husband Tim Fletcher (Leominster), her Brother Jerry James, and his wife Melissa James (Hawaii). Her mother Joan James, (Florida) and father Steve James, (Alabama), and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Stefanie for a period of visitation on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg, MA 01420, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. A Celebration of Life will take place on a later date.
