Shelly A. Testa

Shelly A. Testa, age 50, and a lifelong resident of Fitchburg, MA, passed away on March 17, 2023, surrounded by family. She was the loving mother of her pride and joys, Austin and Kasey Fietz, and beloved fiancé to David Bosell.

Shelly was born in Leominster, MA, on March 31, 1972, to James and Fern (Cormier) Testa. Growing up, Shelly went to St Joseph’s Catholic School, and Monty Tech Regional High School. She loved going to the beach with her friends as a kid, and loved traveling the country in her late 20’s.

Shelly was well known for her generosity and her devotion to volunteering to numerous charities, including meat raffles at the Eastwood Club in Fitchburg. She was open hearted and accepted people for who they were. She was down to earth, and found every reason to smile, even on her worst days. She was the proudest mother, with two loving children. She was a ray of sunshine, who loved everything around her, and found light especially on the darkest days.

She is survived by her loving children Austin and Kasey Fietz of Fitchburg, MA, her parents James and Fern Testa of Fitchburg, MA, and her devoted fiancé David Bosell of Fitchburg, MA.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Shelly for a period of visitation on Monday March 27, 2023, at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg, MA 01420 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM with an in house funeral service. A Celebration of Life at The Eastwood Club, 389 Townsend Street, Fitchburg, MA, 01420 after the funeral from 5:00PM Burial will be private at a later date.
