Ashby – Scott N. Sanborn, 51, of Ashby, passed away November 7, 2017 in Leominster Hospital.
Scott was born in Leominster on July 11, 1966, a son of Nathan W. and Lucille A. (DeSantis) Sanborn of Leominster.
Scott owned and operated his own business, R&S Machine, Inc. in Leominster. He will be fondly remembered as an early riser and very hard worker; if something was broken, Scott could fix it. Scott loved to spend time outdoors with his son and ride around in his “home-made” truck, especially going on Sunday drives with his wife. Scott was a loving family man, a patriotic American, and an animal lover, especially his dogs and cats. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sonya (Dooley) Sanborn; two children, Tessa and Mason Sanborn, all of Ashby; sister Tammy Lovewell and husband Mike of Lunenburg; sisters in law, Sharon Amadon and husband Shawn of Townsend and Carol Gingue and husband Bob of Marston Mills; nieces and nephews, Samantha and Michael Lovewell, and Alicia and Brad Amadon; mother in law, Verley Dooley of Fitchburg and many extended family members.
