Scot A. Maynard, 63, longtime resident of Fitchburg passed away on January 31st at UMass, Worcester, MA with his wife, Diane and son, Craig by his side. Scot fought very hard and courageously from the time he was diagnosed with cancer in August, 2020. But complications from a viral/fungal infection in his lungs just recently got the best of him.
He was born on March 12, 1958 in Fitchburg, the son of Nancy (DeLisle) Maynard and the late Kenneth B. Maynard.Scot is survived by his wife, Diane (LaCross) Maynard. High School sweethearts for 47 years and married for 40 years. HIs son, Craig Maynard for which he was so very proud of and his very dear to his heart grandchildren, Dominic & McKenzie Maynard.
