A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 24 at the Highland Baptist Church, 19 Cedar St., Fitchburg. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours are from 4-7 on Sunday, September 23 in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Ruth E. (Grafing) Kelley, 82 passed away on Wednesday, September 19. Mrs. Kelley was born on March 5, 1936 in Buffalo, N.Y. a daughter of the late Frederick and Ruth (Clanton) Grafing. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Duerr Jr. and his wife, Catherine of Fitchburg, two daughters, Lynn Hart and her husband, James of Fitchburg and Janice Underwood and her husband, Joel of Fitchburg, grandchildren, Corrie, James, Michael, Christine, Tarrah, Christopher, great grandchildren, Rylie, Keegan, Levi, Liv, Scarlett, Vaida, Lydia. Mrs. Kelley had worked as a pastry chef in the food industry. She was an active member of The Highland Baptist Church in Fitchburg. Ruth enjoyed playing the piano and cross word puzzles. She was full of spunk with a bright smile and had a wicked sense of humor, always making people laugh. Her greatest enjoyment was her love for the Lord and being a fulltime Mom.
