Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 4-7pm in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Burial will be in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico.
Leominster – Rosa E. Torres, 77, of Leominster passed away peacefully on March 3, 2015 in UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
Rosa was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico on July 31, 1937, a daughter of the late Amador and Elvira (Rosado) Torres. She was a devout Christian woman, who dedicated her life to serve the Lord. Rosa was a true matriarch; she adored her children and grandchildren. Cooking for her family brought her great joy.
She leaves her fourteen children, sixty-eight grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews. Rosa was predeceased by her husband Enrique Perez in 2008, four children, one sister, and one brother.
