A short service will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Monday, February 22, at 10:00am, followed by a procession to Saint Bernard’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-6 pm on Sunday, February 21 in the funeral home.

RONALD F. GONYNOR, 64
“Grampy Grampy”
Orange – Ronald F. Gonynor, 64, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, February 17, in UMass Medical Center.
He was born in Fitchburg on September 7, 1951, a son of the late Francis and Florence (Albert) Gonynor. For over 40 years Ronald worked as a bartender at the British American Club. He retired from the Templeton Developmental Center as a Caregiver after 15 years.
Ronald enjoyed the Boston Red Sox, NASCAR, and the New England Patriots. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Ronald had a great sense of humor and had a gift of making people laugh. He loved listening to music and playing his guitar.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Linda (McDonald) Gonynor of Orange; four sons, Randy Gonynor and wife Rachel of Gardner, Shawn Gonynor and fiancé Trisha of Warwick, Christopher Gonynor and wife Christina of Methuen, and Eric Gonynor and wife Courtney of Methuen; grandchildren, Kyle, Natalie, Cameron, Jordan, Addison, Colton, Olivia, Michael, and Hannah; brother, Dennis Gonynor and wife Gail of Fitchburg; many nieces and nephews, and his good friend Bill Creamer.
Ronald was predeceased by his brother Ricky Gonynor.
