On June 22, 2024, the world lost a resilient soul, Robert E. Remal, fondly known as Bob to his loved ones. Born on April 29, 1932, in Fitchburg, MA, Robert carried the spirit of his birthplace throughout his life. He was a humble man, whose dedication to his loved ones and his work was truly inspiring. His humor and steadfast resilience were the pillars that held his family and friends together during challenging times.

His dedication extended beyond his professional life; he was equally passionate about his hobbies. In his younger years, Robert spent many happy hours on the golf course, where his competitive spirit shone, and he found solace and the joy of creation in woodworking. Always a humble man, Robert was also a former member of the Fitchburg Rotary East, where he served and engaged with his community. Despite his many accomplishments, what mattered most to Robert was his family. He was particularly devoted to his wife, Priscilla, his companion of 65 years, whose love enriched his life in countless ways. For 58 years, Robert and Priscilla would look out their window at the breathtaking view, that extended all the way to the Boston skyline.

Robert is survived by his wife, Priscilla, and their three children Robert, Brian and his wife Diana, and daughter Susan Wilson and her companion Butch Fregeau. He was preceded in death by his parents, Axel and Hilda Remal, his brothers Axel Jr., Earl, and Alfred, and his sisters Doris and Phyllis. Despite their loss, the Remal family takes comfort in knowing that Robert's light continues to shine through the memories they've created together. His legacy of resilience, humility, dedication, and wit continues to inspire all who knew him.

We invite you to share your memories of Robert and upload photos to the memorial page. Each story and picture serves as a poignant reminder of the incredible man Robert was, and how he touched the lives of so many.
