OBITUARY
Fitchburg – Robert P. “Bobby” Lamont, 66, of Fitchburg, formerly of Waltham, passed away June 10, 2016 in The Highlands.
Bobby was born in Waltham, MA on September 23, 1949 a son of the late Charles and Anne (Mahoney) Lamont. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved his job driving trucks, most recently for Lanni Orchards in Lunenburg. Bobby loved sports, especially hockey. He also loved antique cars, boating with his family and friends, and watching the Three Stooges.
Bobby leaves his loving wife of 39 years, Norma (Hache) Lamont of Fitchburg; siblings, Paula Burke and husband Jim of Plymouth, Deidre Lamont of Waltham, Gary Lamont of Marshfield, and Donald Lamont and his wife Laurie of Marshfield; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Charles “Kim” Lamont.
The family would like to extend a most sincere thank you to the wonderful staff of the Health Alliance Home Health and Hospice.
