Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 17 Main St., Ashburnham on Wednesday, August 8, from 4-7pm. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, August 9, at 10am. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Ashby.
OBITUARY
Ashby- Robert H. Loughlin, 77, of Ashby, passed away at the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gardner.
Robert was born in Leominster on March 1, 1941, a son of the late Joseph and Doris (Hause) Loughlin. For over 25 years, he worked at General Electric as a welder, until his retirement. For several years, he served as a Reserve Police Officer in Ashby. Robert was an outdoorsman, who truly enjoyed working hard on his family’s farm. He belonged to the Fitchburg Sportsman’s Club and loved Skeet Shooting.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Norma (Adshade) Loughlin of Ashby; children, Linda Loughlin and Donald Loughlin, both of Gardner, and Timothy Loughlin and wife Tina of Jaffrey, NH; nine grandchildren.
Robert was predeceased by his daughter Lori Loughlin in 2016 and his brother Paul Loughlin.
