Robert V. Dion

With immense respect and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Robert V. Dion, who left us on October 14, 2024, at the age of 83. Born in Fitchburg, MA, on January 9, 1941, Robert was a beacon of dedicated service and a testament to the enduring spirit of community.

Robert was a lifelong resident of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, where he not only lived but also contributed significantly to the community. For many years, he was a part of the Postal Service, faithfully fulfilling his role as a mailman. His supportive nature and willingness to lend a helping hand made him a cherished figure within the community. As a devoted father and a loving husband, Robert's home was always filled with warmth and love. He was widowed by his beloved wife, Caroline Dion, with whom he shared countless memories and a beautiful life. 

In his retirement, Robert found great pleasure in enjoying the serene beauty of Hickory Hills Lake, a pastime that brought him much joy and peace. His dedication to his work, love for his family, and support for his community will be remembered fondly. His character, etched in the hearts of those who knew him, remains a testament to his life's journey. Robert is survived by his sons, Robert and Donald Dion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Rhoda Wazal, and his loving wife, Caroline Dion.
