It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Arsenault, who left us on October 18, 2023. Born to Wilfred and Grace Arsenault on September 2, 1950, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Robert was a true emblem of dedication and reliability. His life was a tapestry of rich experiences and relationships, woven together by his enduring spirit and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
Robert was a man who was as steadfast as the welds he meticulously crafted in his work as a self-employed welder. His career in the construction business, while demanding, was a source of great pride and accomplishment. A graduate of Lunenburg High School, Robert's dedication to his craft was as strong as the metals he worked with, and he approached each project with a level of precision and care that was truly admirable. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Air Force.
He was a man of simple pleasures who found joy in the great outdoors. An avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman, Robert's connection to nature was a defining aspect of his character. He was a member of the Eastwood Club, where his love for camaraderie and community was well known. Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Debra Anne Arsenault, his loving siblings Raymond Arsenault, David Arsenault, Anna Siegel, Grace Boucher, Rose Blair, and Angelina Belisle, and his 20 beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Grace Arsenault, and by a brother, Anthony Arsenault.
Robert's life was a testament to the power of dedication, the strength of reliability, and the beauty of a life well-lived. His memory will continue to inspire us all.
