Worcester- Rita M. (Girouard) LePage Proietti, 96 passed away at Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Worcester on Friday, December 29.
She was born in Leominster on February 23, 1921 a daughter of the late Henri and Matilda (Melanson) Girouard and lived most of her life in Leominster.
Mrs. Proietti was a clerk at the former Rockdale Discount Store in Leominster and was also a waitress at the former Cappy’s Restaurant in Lunenburg.
She is survived by her sister, Florence Whitton of Worcester, grandson, Christopher C. LePage of California, her caregiver, Sister Carol Proietti SSA of Marlborough, sister in law, Clara Proietti Ermini and husband Ciro of Leominster, brother in law, John Proietti and wife Dorothy of Leominster, several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Proietti is predeceased by her husband, Europeo A. Proietti who passed away on April 8, 2002, her son, Richard E. LePage who passed away on December 2, 2011, her brothers, Patrick, Edmond, Leo and Arthur, her sister, Rose Lockwood, her niece, Geraldine Fortier Rouleau.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and the Notre Dame Hospice Staff both of Worcester.
