Richard V. Reissmann, born on February 24, 1937, in Leominster, MA, has left a profound legacy that will forever be treasured. Beyond being a loving family member and a loyal friend, Richard was an exceptional individual who had an undeniable knack for inspiring others. He was known for his dedication to his work and his exceptional talents that shone brightly in his chosen field. 

Richard spent the majority of his professional life in Ashby, Massachusetts, where he was not just a resident but a notable figure in the business community. He was the proud owner of a successful plastics company. His entrepreneurial journey was not just about personal success; it was a testament to Richard's inspiring resilience, dedication, and talent. His determination saw him through the challenges of owning a business, and his relentless pursuit of excellence propelled his company to great heights. Richard's leadership style, coupled with his unique way of problem-solving, made him an inspiring figure to all who had the privilege of working with him. His colleagues often recounted how Richard's presence would light up a room, his inspiring words motivating them to strive for better. He was generous to a fault, Richard always put others before himself.

He served in the United States Army as n E-5 Specialist assigned to the Medical Lab, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. and graduated from Boston University in 1966. A lifelong lover of jazz and baseball, Richard had an encyclopedic knowledge of both. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Richard's journey on earth, though marked by his many achievements, was characterized by more than his professional accomplishments. His life was a reflection of his warm spirit and genuine character. He was a beacon of loyalty, consistently demonstrating a deep sense of commitment to those around him.

He was survived by a brother, Robert, of Texas and a sister, Judy of Florida.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Claire Reissmann. His life was a testament to their teachings and the values they instilled in him, which he carried throughout his life. As well as his companion of more than 50 years, Yolande picard, the love of his life.
