Time for paying respects to the family will be held at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Saturday, November 28, from 11am-12noon. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
OBITUARY
Fitchburg – Raymond W. Nadeau, 90, of Fitchburg, passed away on November 24, in the home that he and his family proudly built together.
Raymond was born in Fitchburg on July 23, 1925, son of the late William and Flora (Marchand) Nadeau. He was raised on his family’s dairy farm on Ashburnham Hill Road, and went to work for the Arn How Farm for several years before working as a paper maker for the former James River Paper Company until his retirement in 1987. Raymond was a hard working, loving husband and father with a special passion for cars and excelled at gardening.
He leaves his two daughters, Joyce Richard of Franklin and Joanne LeBlanc and her husband Arthur of Southwick; four grandchildren; Matthew Richard, Katherine Beddell, Jennifer McCarthy and Andrea LeBlanc; two great grandchildren, Sean and Emma McCarthy; a sister-in-law, Louise Nadeau of Lunenburg; and nieces and nephews.
Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Ronneberger) Nadeau, brother Robert Nadeau and his step brother George Desloges.
