Randall J. Howe

March 31, 1967 — January 8, 2024

Machias, ME

With a spirit of quirky humor and an unwavering love for his family, Randall Howe, fondly known as "Shaker" or "Randy," left us on January 8, 2024. Born on March 31, 1967, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Randy was a beacon of humility, a testament to the power of perseverance, and a hilarious companion to those who knew him. He was a lover of sports, with a particular fondness for basketball, softball, and his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Randy was a graduate of Monty Tech and Worcester Technical School, where he mastered his craft as a welder. True to his humble nature, he rarely bragged about his skills but allowed his work to speak for itself.  Despite his personal battles, he always found a way to bring laughter and joy to those around him. He spent his last years in Machias, Maine, a place he came to call home after having lived in Fitchburg.

Randy is survived by his devoted mother, Nancy Howe, his children, Taylor and Troy Howe. He also leaves behind his brothers, Stanley (Sandy) Howe III and Douglas (Renee) Howe, his sisters, Sheila (Steve) Montminy and Rosemary (David) Reirden. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Howe Jr. His family, friends, and all who knew him will miss his funny antics and loving heart.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

In remembering Randy, we encourage you to share your memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Let us remember Randy for the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.
