A private memorial will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Animal Rescue League of Worcester, UMass Diabetes Center of Excellence, or a favorite charity. A memorial fund will be established at a future date, to honor Peter’s legacy.
Peter J Cancellieri, 32, of Worcester, MA passed away at home on July 11, 2020.
He spent his whole childhood in Gardner, MA, graduating Gardner High School in 2006, and from MWCC in 2010 with a business degree.
Skateboarding, snowboarding and music filled Peter’s childhood, as he grew into a fondness for cars. One of his true passions was playing guitar, but he spent most of his free time throughout life enjoying live music and quality time with his friends, outdoors; the other being advocation of medical cannabis, helping to treat his Juvenile Diabetes.
Most of Peter’s professional career was fueled by his lifelong love for food, spending many years in the grocery industry. Most recently Polar Beverages, as well at Stop and Shop, Coca-Cola, and Roche Bros. He also worked for UPS and Parsec. He had an incredible work ethic and took pride in his ability to shine.
He is survived by his mother, Bethann Dutile Cancellieri and sister Emma Cancellieri of Stratham, NH. His dog, Leela. His father Kevin Cancellieri of Gardner, MA. His grandfather, George Cancellieri. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
