Funeral services at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg were private.
Paul L. Pinault, of Fitchburg, has died after suffering a heart attack. He was 88.
Paul served in the Navy and worked as a draftsman at General Electric for more than 40 years.
He was an accomplished sailor and an avid outdoorsman. Bird watching was one of his passions and he enjoyed the many hiking trails and wildlife sanctuaries throughout New England.
A knowledgeable audiophile, Paul was a lover of jazz, especially artists Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Louis Armstrong and Tony Bennett.
He was a lifelong fan of the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics.
Paul was married to his wife Marcia for 44 years, and leaves his brother George Pinault and several nieces and nephews.
