ENGLEWOOD, FL — Paul F. Badagliacca, 70, formerly of Fitchburg/Westminster, MA, passed away July 21, 2016, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on December 14, 1945, son of Guy and Nancy (DiBenedetto) Badagliacca. He is survived by his loving wife, Janice; his dear daughter, Kim and son-in law, Steve Curry; and cherished grandchildren, Halee and Drew. He is also survived by his three sisters, Sr. Janet Badagliacca, Rosalie Marabello, Sr. Pauline Badagliacca; sister-in-law, Eileen Badagliacca; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his son, Chris, his parents, Guy and Nancy, his brother, Lawrence, brother-in-law, Joseph Marabello, his Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles; as well as his in-laws, Nicholas and Jeanette Stanchi.
Paul served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. He was an avid golfer and member of Oak Hill Country Club and fan of New England sports teams. Paul was a master plumber, who owned and operated Badags Plumbing & Heating and Kitchen and Bath Design. Before retirement, Paul worked as the Plumbing Inspector for the city of Fitchburg. He spent the last four years enjoying life and traveling with his beautiful wife and friends.
He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He was a great listener with good advice and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to recognize the care and compassion he received from the doctors and staff at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida and the TideWell Hospice.
