It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela A. McColgan, a remarkable woman whose zest for life was infectious. Born on February 25, 1959, in Fitchburg, MA, Pamela lived a life full of enthusiasm and passion, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered. She resided in Leominster, Massachusetts, where she created countless cherished memories with her loved ones. A woman of resilience and grace, Pamela's spirit will continue to radiate in the lives of those she touched.
Pamela spent most of her career working as a clerk at the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), from where she retired. She found joy in her work, a reflection of her dedication to serving others. In her free time, Pamela was a force on the dance floor, her energy and rhythm lighting up any room. Pamela also loved frequenting the casino, where her lively personality shone. She had a special place in her heart for the New Players Theater Guild, where she participated in many captivating performances.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward McColgan, and her mother, Marlene Carbone. Her children, Tanner and his wife Katie Cormier, Jordan Cormier, Stephanie Cormier, Tess McColgan, Edward McColgan, Dod McColgan, Liam McColgan, and Joseph McColgan, will preserve the memories of their beloved mother. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Carbone. We will gather to honor Pamela's life during calling hours on Thursday, March 20, 2025, beginning at 5:30 PM at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg. A prayer service will follow at 7:15 PM at the same location.
