Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Monday, January 2, from 10am-12noon. A funeral service will begin at 12noon. Burial will be held privately. OBITUARY
Fitchburg – Norman L. Ouellette, Jr., 57, of Fitchburg, passed away Wednesday, December 28, in St. Elizabeth Hospital after a long illness.
Norman was born in Fitchburg on July 20, 1959, a son of Jacqueline (Quill) Christianson and the late Norman Ouellette, Sr. He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1977. For many years Norman worked as a carpet installer for several companies in the area. Music was his passion in life; he could often be seen playing in local venues with several bands that he had established over the years. Norman had a vast and impressive CD collection, which he was always happy to share with his many friends. Stormin’ Norman, as he was fondly referred to, was not only a friend to all, he was also honest, kind, and caring. Even through his illness, which Norman fought to the end, he always concerned about the well being others.
He leaves his family, who was his world, Nancy Flynn of Fitchburg and Katie Cringan of Westminster; mother, Jacqueline (Quill) Christianson and husband Peter of Fitchburg; siblings, Michele Ouellette of Fitchburg, James “Jamie” Ouellette and companion Ann Pirigas of Fitchburg, and Peter Christianson, Jr., of Fitchburg; niece, Chelsea Ouellette and his nephew Collin Ouellette; many aunts, uncles, and close friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Norman L. Ouellette, Sr.
