A funeral will be held at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. on Friday, May 6. A visitation period will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A Mass will be held at 11:00 am in St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Fitchburg- Nancy E. (Anderson) Rouisse, 85, died May 1 at River Terrace Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster.
She was born in Fitchburg on March 9, 1931, daughter of David Anderson and Miriam (Jones) Beckwith and had resided in Fitchburg for many years and was a seasonal resident of Ashburnham for many years.
Mrs. Rouisse is survived by her husband of 64 years Robert E. Rouisse of Fitchburg, three daughters and sons in law, Melodye Rouisse-Stimpel and her husband Thompson of Epsom, NH, Jayme Pires and her husband Peter Jr. of Tolland, CT, Jodye Payne and her husband Brian of Gardner, one brother, David Anderson of Fitchburg, her grandchildren, Jeremy Frerichs, Ryan Frerichs, Chad Pires, Lexye Payne and Colby Payne.
For many years she was employed by the City of Fitchburg in the school food services department.
Mrs. Rouisse was an avid reader. Her greatest enjoyment was her family and attending all the children’s events.
