Michael G. Lagos

Michael George Lagos, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Michael was a resident of Fitchburg Ma.

He was born on November 11, 1945, to the late Thomas and Alexandra (Christedes) Lagos, in Chicago
Illinois. Michael was a Vietnam Veteran and he served in the US Army for a total of 21 years. . In
addition to being a Vietnam Veteran, he was a proud member of the Masonic Fraternity as a Master
Mason; as well as a valued member of the Aleppo Shrine of Wilmington Massachusetts. Michael also
served the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church for many years.

Michael was well known and loved by the community. Michael enjoyed spending time with friends and
family and collecting his treasures along the way. He spent his free time in the flea market circle, due to
his love for people and sharing his stories.

Michael is predeceased by his parents Thomas A. Lagos and Alexandra (Christedes) Lagos, his wife
Deloris K. (Basore) Lagos, His sons, Steve Lukachy, & Daniel Lagos. He is survived by his children,
Matthew Lagos, Ronald Lagos, Nadine Lagos Batallas, and many grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Michael from 12:00pm-1:30pm on Monday May
15, 2023 at the Brandon Funeral home. 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, Ma. 01420.
A burial service will follow calling hours and will be open to immediate family only. Thank you for your
understanding. Military honors will be rendered.
