A calling hour will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Saturday, February 17, from 11am-12noon. Words of remembrance will be held at 12:00 noon.
OBITUARY
Fitchburg – Michael F. Doherty, 59, passed away January 20, in Leominster Hospital.
Michael was born in Fitchburg on June 7, 1958, a son of the late Richard and Evelyn (Collette) Doherty.
He was a graduate of Leominster High School. Before his retirement, Michael held several jobs, working at Fitchburg Yarn, Kan Lok Plastics, Reliable Electric, and as a cook for both the Highlands and River Terrace nursing homes.
Michael enjoyed cooking, music, attending concerts and wrestling events with his beloved daughter, Lisa. He also enjoyed playing cards with his good friend Mark.
He leaves his former wife Charlene Doherty of Leominster; his daughter Lisa Doherty and her fiancé Jimmy Delia of Leominster; his foster daughter Leslie Scott of ME; grandchildren Natalie Rose and Jaxson Raymond, both of Leominster. He also leaves friends who will miss him dearly.
“I live each day wondering how I will get through it and then I remember that you would want me to.” Forever missed, forever loved.
