Melinda Mae Molansky, age 36, and a resident of Fitchburg, MA, passed away on May 1, 2023. She is
the loving mother of Anmerai and Lenaia Nolasco.
Melinda was born on October 13, 1986, to Andrew and Cara (Faulkner) Molansky in Dorchester, MA. She
graduated from Nichols College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Melinda joined
the staff at Caregiver Homes in 2014 as an office assistant. Her intelligence, dedication and personality
were evident early on in her years at Caregiver Homes, quickly escalating her to the position of Business
Operations Support, a role created for her specifically. Most recently, she took on another new role as
Enrollment Specialist. The staff at Caregiver Homes became family and had the privilege of enjoying her
company and daughters in and out of the office. It’s not often a person has the kind of impact that she
had on so many, she was loved and respected by all! Melinda was a force of beauty, strength,
intelligence and love! We will aspire to embody that and nurture those same traits in Anmerai and
Lenaia who are truly their mother’s daughters.
Melinda was an avid reader, many times reading multiple books at once. She was an excellent cook and
loved trying all different cuisines, the spicier the better! She loved animals, adding 3 cats and 2 dogs to
their little family to make it complete. Bold and beautiful, her smile lit up any room she was in. She will
always be remembered for her beauty and grace. She was a woman who overcame many obstacles and
came to believe that barriers are what we make and what we break. Melinda was determined to
provide the best life possible for her girls. She loved her daughters fiercely; they came first in her life
always; she was so proud of them. She believed something worth doing was worth doing right, a
perfectionist and the ultimate role model for her girls.
She is survived by her two daughters Anmerai and Lenaia Nolasco, her parents Andrew and Cara
Molansky, her sister, sister Ashley Molansky and brother Corey Molansky, and many family and friends.
Family and friends will gather to remember and honor Melinda for a period of visitation on Thursday,
