Maureen’s funeral will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, April 14, at 2:00pm. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.

Fitchburg – Maureen P. (Quinn) Higgins, 65, of Fitchburg, died Saturday, April 2, 2016 in her home.
Maureen was born in Fitchburg on October 20, 1950, a daughter of the late Andrew and Rita (Derosier) Quinn. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1968. Maureen was full of life and could put a smile on your face with her witty comments. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends at the Joseph House, where she was a resident.
She leaves her husband Brian Higgins of Lowell; sister, Sheila Quinn of Nashua; brother Michael Quinn of Fitchburg; nieces and nephews, Andrew Quinn, Kevin Quinn, Jason Quinn, Jennifer Quinn Collins, Lauren Quinn, Brandon Quinn, and Bryant Quinn; 9 great nieces and nephews; her first husband Ronald LeBretton of Winchendon.
In addition to her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her second husband Peter Chartrand.
