Known for her wit and fondness for all things beautiful, MaryJane was a radiant soul who filled every room with warmth. Her journey on this earth culminated on September 4, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
A sincere, diligent woman, MaryJane served her community at the Worcester Probate and Family Court, demonstrating her deep commitment to justice and order. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends. MaryJane was the life of every gathering, her humor lighting up faces, and her supportive nature providing comfort in times of need. Her love for all things beautiful extended beyond her keen eye for aesthetic and deep into her heart, where she held a profound appreciation for the beauty found in the bonds of love, friendship, and family.
MaryJane is survived by her loving and caring children, her daughter Courtney Callahan and son Brandon Rumley and his wife Katie, her cherished grandchildren, Marygrace and Sean. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Catherine O'Brien, her brother, Denis O'Brien, her sister, Maureen Clougherty, her husband, Lynnwood Rumley and her son-in-law, James Callahan.
Friends and loved ones are invited to calling hours on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 3pm-5pm at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420.
A mass will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Bernard Parish, 333 Mechanic Street, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420. Kindly make donations to Why Me & Sherry's House 1152 Pleasant St, Worcester, MA 01602 in lieu of flowers.
Burial will be private and held by the family on a later date.
