Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Friday, May 18, from 11am -12noon. A service will begin at 12noon. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery in Leominster.

LEOMINSTER — Maria “Mary” (Iacoboni) Piermarini, 92, of Leominster, died May 12th after a brief illness.
She was born February 6, 1926 in Leominster, the daughter of the late Giuseppi and Nicolina (Iacoboni) Iacoboni, and was a lifelong Leominster resident.
She leaves her husband of over 66 years Lindo; two grandchildren, Stacey Mimnaugh and her husband Jeremy Mailloux of Greenfield, MA and Kyle Mimnaugh of Leominster, MA as well as her four great grandchildren; Finn, Cora, and Silas Mailloux and Greyson Mimnaugh; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her daughter, Karen (Piermarini) Mimnaugh predeceased her in 2011.
She was also predeceased by her brothers; Peter, Emilio, Michael and Cerillo Iacoboni; and her sisters, Teresa Iacoboni and Giacomina Mammone and Angelina Greeno.
Mary was a graduate of Leominster High School and worked for many years at the Pyralart Community Credit Union in Leominster.
Mary was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling in leagues at Putnam Street Lanes for many years. She also loved sitting outside in the sunshine, watching Jeopardy, “yard-saling” or going to her favorite store, “Sally’s” with her sisters. Mary was quick with a smile, and often the life of the party. As her great-grandson said “The next family to get her spirit will be a lucky one”. She will forever be remembered for her patient, kind, and loving spirit.
