Mark Forziati

LEOMINSTER – Mark Forziati, 61, of Leominster, died on Friday, January 13, 2023 at UMASS Leominster Hospital.

He is survived by his partner Candace Longley with whom he shared his life for the past 13 years.

Mark was known for his headstrong personality, sense of humor and love of Italian food. He also loved rock music and attended many concerts in his younger years.

Mark spent several years volunteering at the Fitchburg Art Museum doing maintenance and janitorial work. He loved his job there especially helping to prepare for special events at the museum. The staff there shared that Mark was reliable and faithfully showed up to work each day.

Mark was very proud of his over 20 years of sobriety and was quoted to say “Every day is a holiday when you are sober”.

Most of all, Mark will be remembered for his unyielding love and care for his partner Candace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 6th at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 84 Salem Street, Fitchburg. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg is directing arrangements.
