A Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Anna’s Church, Leominster at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 19, a celebration of life will follow at the Chocksett Inn, 59 Laurelwood Rd, Sterling from 1:00-3:00pm. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg is assisting the family.
OBITUARY Leominster – Marco P. Membrino, 34, of Leominster died March 9, 2016.
Marco was born in Leominster on July 3, 1981, a son of Mark and Joan (Pizzini) Membrino.
Marco was employed with Zichelle Steel Erectors, Inc as a Local 7 Boston Ironworker, as a connector for 20 years.
He enjoyed playing little league as one of the best catchers; he was an all star catcher for North Leominster Little League. When he was older, he went to play softball for Leominster Softball Association and played for the teams, NFG, Vipers, and Vipers X; he was an exceptional short stop player. Marco was also a Red Sox and Bruins fan.
Marco was a devoted father; his children were his greatest joy in life.
He will be truly missed by his wife, mother, siblings, and co workers.
He leaves his wife, Sara (Swift) Membrino of Leominster; children, Marco P. Membrino, Jr. of Leominster and Novalee Membrino of West Virginia; stepson Jonathan Smith of Leominster; mother, Joan Membrino of Leominster; sisters, Andrea Ingemi and husband Shawn of Ashby and Angela Membrino of South Carolina; his brother Matthew Membrino; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marco was predeceased by his father Mark Membrino.
