A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 1 in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Calling hours will be from 4-6 prior to the service in the funeral home.

Lorry passed quietly away on November 28th. She was born on September 4, 1956 in Leominster Hospital. Lorry graduated from Nashoba Regional H.S. and then attended Henri’s school of cosmetology in Fitchburg. Lorry ran her salon Lorry’s Style in the center of Sterling for many years before hanging up her shears. Lorry’s life was filled with fun and adventure. Some of these adventures included skiing the Swiss Alps, feeding the monkeys at the Rock of Gibraltar and wintering in the Mexican sun with her beloved husband Mark Sowa. But some of her best times were spent tailgating at the Patriots games and boating and fishing with Mark. Lorry was predeceased by Mark, her father and mother Donald and Lucy Blanchflower and father-in-law Walter. She leaves her brother: James Blanchflower, sisters: Donna Whitmore and husband Stephen; Janet Boucher and husband Steve; Lyn Cusanello and husband James. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and grand nephews.
