Lorraine Lacross Brideau

September 28, 1930 — July 4, 2015

The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, July 9, with a Mass in Saint Cecilia’s Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Saint Cecilia’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8 on Wednesday, July 8 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.



OBITUARY Leominster – Lorraine T. (Brideau) LaCross, 84, of Leominster passed away on July 4, 2015 in the Life Care Center of Leominster. Lorraine was born in Leominster on September 28, 1930, a daughter of the late Peter and Ella (Albert) Brideau. She attended Saint Cecilia’s grade school and then Saint Bernard’s High School. Lorraine began working at Foster Grant and went on to work for many years for the family business, Brideau Oil as an office clerk. She retired from CVS, working in the pharmaceutical department. She loved to play bingo and slot machines. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, who called themselves “the Aunt-tourage.” She was a member of Saint Cecilia’s Church in Leominster. Lorraine was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She leaves her siblings, Eugene Brideau, Roger Brideau and wife Jeanette, May LaVenture, Gerard “Dickie” Brideau and wife, Lucille, Anne Marie Barba, Marguerite Coughlin, all of Leominster; many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Robert LaCross in 2010 and her brothers Robert Brideau and G. Vern Brideau; sisters, Geralda Perla and Jeanne Landry.
