Loretta’s Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Anna Church, 194 Lancaster St., Leominster at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 26. Burial will follow in Saint Leo’s Cemetery. OBITUARY

Leominster – Loretta E. (DiRusso) Lisciotti, 72, of Leominster, passed away peacefully on October 22, in her home surrounded by her family.

Loretta was born in Leominster on January 29, 1945, a daughter of the late Amedeo A. and Isabel A. (DiNatale) DiRusso. She was a 1962 graduate of Saint Bernard’s Central Catholic High School in Fitchburg and later graduated from the School of Design at Atlantic Union College.

Loretta worked for the family business, Sportsmen’s Plastics, Inc., which was establish by her father in 1948. She also worked for many years at the Law Office of Vincent Campobasso in Leominster.

Loretta was a faithful parishioner of Saint Anna Church and was a board member of the Center for Italian Culture at Fitchburg State University. She loved to travel to Italy with her husband and family. Nothing was more important to Loretta than her family; she was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a wonderful and skilled cook who enjoyed hosting family dinners. Loretta enjoyed oil painting in her spare time.

She leaves her husband of 52 years, Henry P. “Hank” Lisciotti, Jr. of Leominster; children, Kevin J. Lisciotti and wife Jennifer of Shrewsbury, Gregg P. Lisciotti of Leominster, and Kristin L. Rosenberg and husband David of Boston; grandchildren, Lauren M. and Andrew J. Lisciotti and Nico H. Rosenberg; siblings, Father Anthony DiRusso of Lunenburg, Barbara DiRusso of Leominster, John DiRusso of Leominster, Steven DiRusso and wife Kathleen of Oklahoma, Thomas DiRusso and wife Susan of Leominster, and Dr. Concetta DiRusso and husband Dr. Paul Black of Nebraska; many nieces and nephews.
