Linda S. Robideau

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Linda Susan Robideau, who departed this world on August 16, 2024. Born in Sturbridge, MA, on September 4, 1953, Linda lived a life that was as vibrant and spirited as the hummingbirds she so adored. A true embodiment of resilience, Linda's strength and fortitude were an inspiration to all who knew her.

A loving mother, a generous friend, and a spirited soul, Linda spent most of her life in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where she nurtured her family as a dedicated homemaker. She was a beacon of light in the lives of her two sons, Richard and Anthony Albert, and her three cherished grandchildren, Richard Albert III, Ariel Albert, and Wyatt Albert. To Linda, family was the heart of her existence, and she was indeed the heart of ours. Widowed by her husband, Donald Robideau, Linda continued to display an unyielding resilience that touched all aspects of her life. 

Linda's passion for life was evident in her love for horseback riding, her enjoyment of Harley's, and her affection for all animals. A genuinely kind and generous soul, she was always ready to lend a helping hand, touching countless lives with her benevolence. She leaves behind not only her sons and grandchildren but also a multitude of friends who she held dear in her heart. We will remember Linda for her infectious laugh, her warm hugs, and her unwavering spirit. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerard LaPlant, and her husband, Donald Robideau.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Linda's life on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420. The calling hour will commence at 5:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 pm.
