A memorial service will be held in the Church of the Nazarene, 800B South St. Fitchburg, MA 01420 on January 1, at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215 in Leonard J. Lemoine’s name.
Fitchburg – Leonard J. Lemoine, 59 passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2021.
Leonard was born in Leominster on June 2, 1962 a son of the late Beverly (Lemoine) Lefferman. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Air Force.
Leonard spent his career working as a machinist and most recently a tool maker for various companies. His life revolved around his family; he will be forever remembered for giving the biggest hugs. Leonard also loved to go camping with friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kathleen S. (Bedard) Lemoine of Fitchburg; his children Ashley Lewin and partner Jay Watson of Fitchburg, Nicholas Lemoine of Fitchburg, Samantha Lemoine of Leominster, Chandra Sarki of Fitchburg, Laxmi Lemoine of Fitchburg, and Spencer Sarki of Fitchburg. He is also survived by Angela Logan, whom he was caregiver to for over 20 years; four grandchildren, Triston Lewin, Jayley Watson, Muna Sarki, Jeniyah Watson; siblings, Lisa Lefferman of Winchendon, Wendy Lefferman of Gardner and Dale Lefferman of Leominster; mother and father-in-law, Steven and JoAnn Deluca of Hubbardston; many in-laws, nieces and nephews who were so close to his heart.
The family would like to sincerely thank the team of Dr. Jacqueline Garcia at Dana Farber for their exceptional care.
