Leominster – Larry A. Franklin, 71, of Leominster, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He was born in Fitchburg on February 25, 1946, a son of the late Clayton and Mary Louise (LeBlanc) Franklin. Larry graduated from Leominster High School in 1964. After high school he began working as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for D’onfro, and years later retiring from Tandem Construction Co. in Leominster. He was such a hard worker and had such a strong work ethic, he always got up for work no matter what the circumstance. Larry loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, he also enjoyed cars. Every year, along with his wife, Larry would vacation in Florida. He was a member of the Eagles in Leominster for many years. He leaves his wife of 22 years, Anne (Craite) Franklin of Leominster, his children, Lance Franklin of Boston, Larry Franklin of Fitchburg, Jodi Brady of Fitchburg, and Tracy Franklin of Fitchburg; several grandchildren, including Christian Franklin, as well as nieces and nephews. He also leaves his sister Anita Fiandaca and her husband David of Leominster; his brother Ken Franklin and his wife Jayne of Lunenburg.
