Kenneth Raymond Goguen, known affectionately as Kenny, passed away on September 25, 2024. Born in Fitchburg, MA, USA, on June 18, 1950, this charismatic adventurer was no stranger to the ups and downs of life's roller coaster. He greeted each twist and turn with a contagious smile, a compassionate heart, and the courage of a lion. Not one to shy away from the challenging paths, Kenny blazed trails, both literally and metaphorically, with the same dedication he brought to his work as a paver in the construction industry.
Kenny was more than just a man who enjoyed the outdoors; he was a force of nature himself. His hobbies read like an adventure guide to life: dek hockey, softball, golf, weight lifting, hiking, hunting, fishing - you name it, Kenny did it. He was the kind of person who could convince you to join him on a late afternoon hike with the promise of a cold beer at the end. Always the social butterfly, you could find him at the Knights of Columbus, South End Club, or Paddock Lounge when he wasn't out and about exploring the great outdoors. No matter where he was, Kenny was always supportive, loyal, and reliable, traits that endeared him to everyone he met.
Kenny is survived by his sons Jeremy and Jonathan Goguen, his brothers Bob and Rodney Goguen, and his sister Carol Lagasse. He joins his parents, Raymond and Lorraine Goguen, in the great beyond, though we're sure they're all having a good laugh together now.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 4:00 pm at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420.

Here's to you, Kenny - the courageous, the compassionate, the unforgettable.
