Kenneth J. Bergeron, age 50, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, peacefully at home in Leominster, MA after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Kenny was born April 20, 1973, in Leominster to Kenneth Bergeron and Sarah Bergeron. Ken graduated from Leominster High School in 1992 before serving in the United States Navy from 1993-1997. Ken went on to serve as a police officer in Leominster, and most recently was the owner of Eastern Livery Service.
Ken’s selflessness, work ethic, dedication, stubbornness, and strong willingness made him the unique person we all loved. He loved the game of hockey and served as a passionate teammate and coach for many years. He viewed and treated those he coached as his own. Ken also loved spending time on the pontoon boat pulling the children around on tubes and enjoying a cold beer. He would often take the family on random road trips ending up at some kind of entertainment for the kids. Everyday he strived to create the best life for his 5 amazing kids.
Ken is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kristen Stesney, his five children, Logan, Jarid, Hannah, Kyle, and Chase, both his mother, Sarah Bergeron, and father, Kenneth Bergeron, his mother in law, Joan Stesney Morin, her husband, Roland Morin, his sister, Natalie Bergeron, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all of his “kids” that he coached over the years. Ken was preceded in death by his father in law, Edward Stesney.
In honoring Kenny’s style, services will be private with a celebration of life with details coming soon
